The Scheduled Myriad Tasks feature allows you to create Tasks that can be used to perform selected procedures in Myriad Playout.
You can access the Myriad Tasks window from the Myriad Playout > Settings Menu > Scheduled Myriad Tasks.
You can also access the Scheduled Myriad Tasks window from within the Myriad Management Service UI.
The first time you click on this option, you will be asked if you would like the system to generate some example Scheduled Myriad Tasks.
It is recommended that you click on Yes to create some example Tasks.
To edit an existing Scheduled Myriad Task, double click on the task in the list. In the example below, we have double clicked on the Hourly Schedule tasks which is set to schedule the Log automatically at 45 minutes past the hour.
The Task Options section allows you to title your task, as well as enable / disable the task and set it to run automatically when the service starts.
The Task Parameters tab allows you to set the parameters for the task. Each Task type will have different Task Parameters available.
The Schedule tab, allows you to set the parameters for when the Task should be scheduled to execute.
To Add a new Task, click on the Add Task drop down and select the type of Task you want to add.
Each Task will have Task Parameters appropriate to the task being undertaken. The list of available Tasks is likely to change over time.
