Installing SQL Server 2016 manually
Installing Microsoft SQL Server is quite an in depth technical task, so we strongly recommend asking the Broadcast Radio Support Team to do the installation for you, especially if you are not fully comfortable with the level of technical expertise required. Please contact hello@broadcastradio.com to arrange a suitable time for us to do this for you.
If you would like to proceed yourself, then we have prepared the attached "Setting up SQL 2016 for Myriad Playout" document to guide you through the key steps, which are broadly the same for manually installing SQL Server 2012, 2019 and 2022
