Introduction
Myriad v5.26 and higher have a Media Import Wizard that allows you to easily import a considerable number of files along with selecting normalisation, audio format and categorisation options.
As well as manually selecting files or folders full of files, you can also Load a List of files to import and that list can also set various fields such as Item Title, Artist, Categorisation etc.
These can be very useful when importing information from other systems, for example when importing data from other playout systems or from distribution companies.
Attached to this article are several example template files in various formats that you can use with this feature. The most commonly used is Excel Spreadsheets, but you can also use Comma or Tab Separated Variable (CSV/TSV) as well as some other formats.
We recommend that you check the Myriad installed folder on your computer for the latest version of these example files because the format does change as features are added to new versions of Myriad. You will usually find this in C:\Program Files (x86)\Broadcast Radio\Myriad Playout v6\Docs.
