Introduction
Myriad Schedule Pro has built in import options to import directly from a number of other Music Scheduler systems, as well as being able to import information from simple text, CSV and Excel spreadsheets.
It's worth reading this information carefully as it will walk you through the process of importing as much information as possible from the supported systems to get you up and running as quickly as possible.
Important Note: You will need a Station Enabler code before you are able to use/evaluate Myriad Schedule. Please contact us via hello@broadcastradio.com and we will be happy to help.

Recommend Import Steps
We strongly recommend following these steps in this order, but if you have any questions please just open a support ticket with us and we'll be happy to help.
- Run the Setup Wizard: When you first run Myriad Schedule you will go through the Setup Wizard which will automatically configure many of the options for you, including offering you the option to import some basic information from the supported systems as shown above. Don't worry if you have already completed the Setup Wizard and skipped the import steps, as you can always import the same information later.
- Import/Configure your Station Categories and Attributes: On the Settings menu you will see the option to Edit your Categories and Attributes.

On this window you can either manually enter your details, OR you can use the Import options on the ribbon at the top of the window to import the Category and Attributes from any of the supported systems as above, or even just from simple text/csv/spreadsheets.
If importing from Music 1, browse to the location of your Music 1 data files.
If importing from Natural Log, supply the SQL connection details.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process. - Import your Media Items: Use the Import Wizard to import as many Media Items as possible from your previous software. Media Items include Songs, Links/Beds etc., News items, Ads/Spots and other audio items.

Select the Music 1 or Natural Music audio location.

The Import Wizard will walk you through bringing as much information as possible and will automatically cross reference the Media Items with the Categories/Attributes you added in Step 2 above. - Import your Clocks/Clock Assignment Sets: Use the Clock Assignments Window to import your existing Clocks (if supported) or you can create new Assignment Sets and Clocks.
Important Note: Because of the significant differences between how Clocks work in different Scheduling systems, Clock Import cannot import/match every feature between systems and you will need to carefully review each Clock and update each item to ensure that Myriad Schedule will be scheduling the hours using the structure you are expecting. You should consider the Clock import as more of a basic hour 'framework' import, importing much of the basic Clock structure, but understanding that you will then need to edit and update the imported Clock.
Add the SQL connection details to your Natural Music database and follow the on screen instructions.
- Add your required Station Log Export Format: You may already have done this as part of the Setup Wizard, but if not then you can edit the Export Formats from the Station Settings Window. See this article for more information
