Rotating Media Items allow you to create a reusable placeholder that plays a different piece of audio each time it is triggered. This is ideal for jingles, station IDs, promos, or any rotating content you want to schedule without manually switching items.
Each time the rotating item is played — whether manually or through automation — it will play the next media item in its internal rotation list.

▶️ How It Works During Playback
Each time the rotating item is:
Dragged into a player
Scheduled in the log
Triggered from favorites
…it will play the next item in the list, then advance the internal counter to the following item for next time.
The rotation is looped, so when it reaches the end of the list, it starts again from the beginning.

You can:
Reorder items within the rotation
Add or remove items
Rename the rotating item at any time
To do so:
Open the item via Edit
Adjust the list as needed
Click Save to apply changes
